Warner took the social media to thank his franchise for his "faithful support" by his international sanctions, which ended on 28 March.
"I can not thank the franchisees and fans for your loyal support for the wonderful 12 minutes to come back to Sunrisers Hyderabad. It's time to get back," he wrote.
Warner and Smith were dismissed in front of the governing council of the League in the 2018 edition to lead the Sunrisers in the 2016 IPL.
Cameron Bancroft has been banned for nine months for opening the "Sandpapergate" scam in Cape Town.
